What a wonderful story to read to get you in the spirit for the holidays. The writing was sweet and endearing and oh my how I loved the characters. After I read the short novella I though how this story would make a great movie for everyone to watch. The author does a great job of bringing the story to life with her expressive words .
Sarah is a great character who is a professional organizer. She is very sweet but has a sense of not belonging at times. Could it be because her parents are always away when special occasions arise? When Sarah begins to help organize her elderly neighbor's apartment , she meets Justin. Justin is handsome, loves his grandmother and his character is so likeable I wanted to meet him myself. As they begin to spend time together, a definite attraction is blooming. Justin is such a giving and caring person. But Justin senses Sarah holding back. Why does she have a problem with trusting people? Can she overcome her fear of loneliness and being hurt to let Justin in?
The story is written with such warm emotions and I loved how the relationship was not rushed. The setting in New York was perfect as I could see the decorations on stores and people skating with happiness at the ice rink. Sometimes it takes a small gesture, a kind word or maybe a reminder from God that we are important and can trust Him . Sarah has a problem with her faith and as you read the story, you will experience the change in her as she lets go and allows God to direct her path. The author has written a beautiful story that reminds us that faith can get us through anything as we allow Him to show us what unconditional love is.

I've read many of Carrie's historical books and loved them. This reminded me of why I started following her! Well written with defined characters and a problem that wasn't too big to work out. Lovely story!
Absolutely loved this book. It was such a sweet story. I fell in love with the characters. In fact I would love it if Sarah would organize all my things. The characters seemed so real. I fell in love with the plot as well as the wonderful writing. Also loved the inspirational thread. Was sorry when this sweet story ended. I wanted to keep reading. I cant wait to read more from this author.
I've come to expect this from a Carrie Turansky novella - realistic characters and situations wrapped in a romance plot that'll just feel great to read. This one doesn't disappoint! Perfect for an early Christmas-y mood or ant time you're looking to feel good. Definitely recommend!
I've heard great things about Carrie's books in the past, but this is this first book I've read by her. It most likely won't be my last!
This is a heartwarming story about two souls finding love and God's plan for their lives. It's about family and overcoming fears with faith. I would definitely recommend it if you enjoy sweet, clean, God-honoring books!
"Moonlight Over Manhattan" was truly wonderful and I enjoyed every moment of reading it. This was my first story written by Carrie Turansky and I was fascinated by her writing style. Throughout this story-line, we found a remarkable amount of Christian Characteristics and the way that God can work in the most unrealistic situations with a miraculous outcome.
I truly do recommend this story, it was wonderful from the beginning until the very end.
